She hold my heart in her hands
my spirit in her breath
her words caress melodies from this heart in my chest
I'm blessed to have met her
Only God could have set her, in motion

Emotions run deep through she
oceans, like moats, keep the peace but we
we have learned to swim, let down bridges, defense
stay on constant shift change
so that when constants shift change
they be will be in position
but she and I, we have no need for defenses
I lay down my armor, surrender my love
I will walk beside cliffs and just trust she won't shove
me over
but over heals, my head be
her love leaves me woozy
her body just soothes me
but I be lonely when she leaves me
so I promise her she won't lose me
and I just pray she won't loose me
see, my love keeps me tied to her heart
penned up, pinned down, she is my napoelan bonaparte
she has conquered the depths of me
I fall victim to her love regime
each and every battle is lost
but I prefer it, so perhaps I have become a traitor to the cause

but treason has never felt so right
never felt so good not to fight
it is calming to surrender
in fact, there have been times I would defend her
from my own attacks against gender
